A salt field. Something that was immortalised by Mahatma Gandhi. Looks almost surreal, as if there would be plants which would be bearing these salt crystals...
Breathtaking!! I have a lot of salt pans near my house and had been planning to go click them against a blue blue sky on a sunny day ... lets see when I get the time to do it :(

@rain girl: a salt field is a place where sea water is evaporated and salt is taken out.. hence the white look...
