The landscape seems to be designed by nature as a case study for an ideal location for the art of war... Offense and Defence... Attack and Withdrawl... Guirella warfare... And the man that ruled the land, Shivaji, was nature's own pupil it seems... For the way he utilised this terrain remains to date an example...
